Tom Brady’s back to playing football. He is talented, but L.A. do we think for one moment that this 4 x Super Bowl Champion, 3x Super Bowl MVP who throws the football to make a living didn’t know the football he was using was under-regulation standard. Tom says “he always plays within the rules.” As good as he is, he must have not been to sure of his abilities or the rules.
May 6, 2015, the NFL published a 243-page report basically saying “Terrific Tom” knew about the use of the deflated footballs in the AFC Championship game. Some ports analysts are saying, well he doesn’t have show his texts messages. It’s really sad that a quarterback of this caliber cannot just be stand-up, turn-over his phone records and be done with it, especially if you didn’t know anything.
On May 11, Brady was suspended for four games by the NFL for his involvement based on “substantial and credible evidence” that Brady knew Patriots employees were deflating footballs and that he failed to cooperate with investigators. The decision was overturned by Judge Richard Burman making Tom eligible to play week one. He got permission (from who) to appeal his case. Remember Spygate where the Patriots were caught taping other teams signals. The taping was reported to have gone on from 2000 – 2007. When did Brady start with the Pats! It just seems a little suspicious. I mean other athletes get in to a situation there suspended, jailed, etc. In other words there are repercussions. And, celebs from Boston, all over the TV saying their deflaters.
Tom this is your craft, respect is earned from mastering it, being the best in the game at the game. Quarterbacks have the most prestigious position on the field; I don’t know L.A. the legacy of the Patriots is a little deflated. So…L.A. let’s talk about this!
