Chris Rock is scheduled to host the Oscars and many are calling for him to step down. He is probably under contract, so I really don’t see him doing that. The question was posed to Super Star Tyrese Gibson, and I have to say I was very impressed with his very passionate response regarding the issue. So now a co-worker ask me what I thought: she said “do you think Black people should get an award “just because their Black?” (I really thought how ignorant is that) Of course, I don’t think that just because, but I most certainly think that as minorities we should have the opportunity to win. Now, see I thought and told her, she should also be a little affronted because their aren’t any Asians, Latinos, Native Americans or anyone other than one race of people represented at the Oscars. Honestly, I am really not that impressed with what the great White people of the Academy think. And Black people hold your dollars that is what makes us count. I decide what I like and support what I want. So, what do you think L.A. Should we be concerned, Say something at SaySomethingLA.com
I actually saw this movie last week, I know L.A. I haven’t been on my job. But, Benicio Del Toro is scary good in this movie. The storyline has its twist, the DEA agents “Josh Brolin” is on of them and Benecio Del Toro (non-agent) teamed up against one of the families in the Mexican Cartel, or so you think. But it’s deeper than that, and what’s crazy is that ending! It’s set in Juarez, Mexico and some of the scenes are horrific, there is a firecracker rookie agent element too. I’m not going to tell you anymore L.A. You go see it and then Say Something L.A.
Empire is the VERY BEST thing on T.V. hands down!!! This episode was popping. I love the whole concept, new artists, family. Lucious (Terrence Howard)! You saving artists off the street, while your own son begs to come back. Trai Byers is serving it on Empire. And Cookie (Taraji P. Henson) she cain’t get no better.
Hakeem (Bryshere Gray), Yazz and Timbaland that was FREAKING FIRE!!! Yes, Yes!
Long Live the Empire only to Taken over by Lyon Dynasty!
This is a excellent movie! Worth your dollars. It’s action, I was dodging punches in my seat. It’s heartwarming, tears people. Kudos to Jake Gyllenhaal and Forest Whitaker. “Y’all Did That” Go see it, and Say Something L.A.
Okay, so I went to the movies to see Brotherly Love. I don’t know what I was expecting because I hadn’t really seen any trailers, but I knew that Corey Hardrict and Keke Palmer were in the movie along with Romeo Miller. So, I took a chance. The movie was sooooooo good! I don’t know how many people remember how they felt when they walked out of the movies after seeing Boyz n the Hood for the first time. But that’s the feeling you get. And there is a crazy twist at the end. The barbershop scene nice touch. But it was really well done. I wish I had posted this earlier. But this can be another classic. So support it, go see it! Then Say Something L.A.

This story was about a group of Ethiopians, Eritreans, and other immigrants volatile journey and story getting to America. The storyline was exciting, dramatic, funny and it encompassed love. Yes, it did all of those things. And I love that we got to speak with the cast members. There are just so many, many, great films. One more day L.A. Don’t miss this!
It is so good, pay attention once he gets out, everything matters! Idris is so scary, crazy. Everytime Taraji screamed or jumped, I did too. We usually don’t let strangers in the house, but I could see how that might happen. But for damm sho after seeing it, “You Cannot Use My Phone.” Great flip to the story near the end. I enjoyed the movie immensely. Did you see it, if so SaySomethingLA.
